FAQ

Q: What material are your 3D prints made from?

A: PLA Filament. PLA is a thermoplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane. Polylactic Acid, commonly known as PLA, is one of the most popular materials used in desktop 3D printing. It is also one of the most environmentally friendly filaments on the market today, PLA is renewable and most importantly biodegradable. Known for it's detailed and glossy surface quality, it also has good tensile strength.  However, prints will start to lose mechanical strength at temperatures over 140F.
